Know who you want to send your proposal to…

  • Do not send to random companys
  • Make sure you can and are willing to represent them and they will also represent your team in the same way
  • Is it a company you are familiar with?  Is it a product you already use?  Can you easily sell the product based on your knowledge of the product?

These are all keys to consider before you even start.  If you do not do your research, you will not be successful.  A little bit of work will reap greater rewards.

Next week we will talk about ways to customize and personalize your proposal.
